Single-leg training is an essential exercise for training for sports and helps with speed and injury prevention.

By doing single-leg exercises the small muscles in the body (stabilizers and neutralizers) near the hip, knees and ankles will develop strength.

This week on FitnessWatch, Jamie Wood, personal trainer at Page Fitness, will discuss how to do single-leg exercises and explain why they are so beneficial.

Each week Fitness Watch will outline healthy living, exercise and fitness tips, brought to you by Page Fitness and MyABC50.com.
