Fort Drum welcomes home first 100 Soldiers from the 3rd Brigade Combat Team

The first batch of soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division' 3rd Brigade Combat Team are now home. A ceremony was held Thursday evening at Ft. Drum for the soldiers. The brigade is currently wrapping up a 12 month mission in Afghanistan. About 100 soldiers came back to the North Country last night with more expected in the coming weeks. Once the redeployment is completed, about 3500 soldiers will have returned home.
