Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The Buffalo Bills announced three new coaching-staff appointments on Thursday – including two Syracuse University assistant coaches.

The Bills now have seven coaches on their payroll that were on Syracuse’s sidelines in the fall.

Buffalo announced on Thursday that SU assistant head coach and former secondary coach John Anselmo was on board and also strength and conditioning coach Hal Luther.

The Bills formally announced that Doug Marrone would be their new coach last week.

Since then, the SU coach has drawn several coaches with him to Buffalo, including former Orange offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett.

Shortly after Marrone’s announcement, the athletics department tapped former defensive coordinator Scott Shafer as the program’s new head coach.
