The Jefferson County SPCA Board of Directors has appointed a new executive director.
Douglas Marlow, former head of Mercy Care, will begin his role as executive director on the 23rd of January.
Wednesday evening the SPCA board made the decision to hire Marlow.
The decision to hire a new executive director came on the heels of the firing of Peggy Hinz. A law suit has been filed by Hinz against the SPCA.
