This week on MyABC50.com’s Pet Connection, we are featuring Champ the Pit Bull and Shepherd mix, Rocky the Husky, and two cats, Dana and Ian. Check out the slideshow for pictures and more info on these animals currently up for adoption at the Jefferson County SPCA.

Champ
Champ is a 2-year-old, female Pit Bull and Shepherd mix who came to the shelter on May 4th. She is Brindle with a strong and athletic build. She is learning to walk on a leash, and responds to sit. Champ has a sweet temperament, and high level of energy. She likes to play, and will do well in any loving home that can give her the proper amount of exercise and play-time.
Rocky
Rocky is a 3-year-old, male Husky who came to the shelter on May 7th after being found as a stray on Fort Drum. He is medium in size, with a big fluffy coat that will require grooming. He has a moderate energy level, and has had some training. Rocky responds well to sit, down and shake. He seems to do well with other animals and children.
Dana
Dana is 2-year-old domestic, short-haired, female cat who came to the shelter on May 15th, 2012. She is medium in size, and grey and brown Tiger with a white belly and paws. Dana has beautiful green eyes, and likes to play and explore. She does well with other cats, and children, but should not be adopted by a family with dogs.
Ian
Ian is a domestic, long-haired, male cat that came in to the shelter on May 15th after being found as a stray. He is large in size, and orange Tiger with white markings. Ian is curious and friendly, and gets along well with other cats. He is looking for a loving home to call his own. Stop in and meet him today!
