This week we are featuring David the Hound mix, Bo, the Lab mix, and two cats, Abell and Emily. Check out the slideshow for pictures and more info.
All of the dogs and cats are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on their vaccinations. They come with a starter bag of food and a free vet exam within the first 15 days after adoption. For more information on adoption rates, hours, contact info and more, visit www.jeffersonspca.petfinder.com or call 315-782-3260.
David is a male Hound mix. He is black and brown with a short coat and large in size. We are unsure of his age because he was found on Fort Drum as a stray. David has had some training, as we can sit and walk on a leash well. He has a moderate energy level, and a great temperament and will do well in just about any home, including one with children or other pets.
Bo is a male Black Lab mix that was also found on Fort Drum as a stray. He is black and brown with some gray on his face. Bo is not house-broken or leash trained, so he will need a family that is willing to dedicate some time to training him. Bo has a great personality and will make a loyal and loving pet for the right family.
Abell is a domestic, short-haired, male cat. He is all black and has been at the shelter since January 3rd when he was found on Fort Drum as a stray. Abell is small in size and very sweet and loving. He loves to be held and to cuddle.
Emily is a domestic, short-haired female cat. She was also found as a stray on Fort Drum. She is white and gray and very pretty. Emily has a spunky personality and loves to play. She is very curious and loves to explore. She will do well in a family with children or other cats for playmates.
