This week on MyABC50.com’s Pet Connection, we are featuring Lynn the Beagle mix, Lani the jack Russell mix, and two kittens, Mavis and Bart. Check out the slideshow for pictures and more info on these animals currently up for adoption at the Jefferson County SPCA.
All of the dogs and cats are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on their vaccinations. They come with a starter bag of food and a free vet exam within the first 15 days after adoption. Lynn is a 1 ½ -year-old, female Beagle mix. She came to the shelter on May 24th after being found as a stray on Fort Drum. She is medium in size, and sweet in nature. True to her breed, Lynn likes to explore outside and go for walks. Lynn is friendly and loving, and could be placed in a home with younger children or other animals. She will make a great pet.
Lani is a 5 ½ -year-old female Jack Russell terrier mix. She just arrived at the shelter on May 30th, is small in size, and has a spunky personality. Lani is a lot of fun, is very curious, and loves to play. She is housebroken, and will do great in just about any loving home.
Mavis is a 6-week-old domestic, long-haired, male kitten who came to the shelter on May 30th. He is all black, and still very small in size, so he should not be placed in a home with young children or large animals unless they will be closely supervised. Mavis is sweet and loving, and one of the laziest kittens at the shelter! He loves to lounge and take naps.
Bart is a 6-week-old, domestic, short-haired, male cat. He is gray in color, and still very small. Bart and Mavis share a kitty condo together, and but they couldn’t be more different…Bart is vocal, playful, curious, and has lots of energy! However, both will make wonderful pets. Stop in and meet them today, these guys won’t last long!
