This week on MyABC50.com’s Pet Connection, we are featuring Maddie the Boxer, Noah the Labrador, and two cats, Aaron and Hadley. Check out the slideshow for pictures and more info on these animals currently up for adoption at the Jefferson County SPCA.
All of the dogs and cats are spayed or neutered, micro-chipped, and up-to-date on their vaccinations. They come with a starter bag of food and a free vet exam within the first 15 days after adoption. Maddie
Maddie is a young female Boxer mix who came to the shelter on March 20th after being found on Fort Drum as a stray. Maddie is brindle and around 50lbs. She was abused in her previous home, and is now very timid. Maddie is sweet in nature, but will need a quiet and loving home where she can feel safe, relaxed and comfortable.
Noah
Noah is a 9-month-old, Black Lab mix who just came into the shelter this week. He is still a puppy, even though he doesn’t look like one! Noah is large and strong, and still easily excitable. He is a big bundle of fun and has a high level of energy. Noah will need a family who can spend time giving him plenty of exercise and training.
Aaron
Aaron is a 4-month-old domestic, short-haired, male cat. He is fawn and white, and on small in size. Aaron came to shelter on March 22nd after being found on Fort Drum as a stray. He has a sweet personality, and is friendly with both other animals and children. Aaron is a curious kitten, and loves to play with toys and explore.
Hadley
Hadley is a 3-year-old, domestic, short-haired, male cat. He was also found on Fort Drum as a stray. Hadley is calm, and enjoys cuddling and taking naps. He will do well in any loving home, including with other animals or children.
