Suggested wine: Lucky Star Chardonnay
Ingredients:
(Marinade)
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons finely chopped green onion
- 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
(Glaze)
- 4 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon Rumford Cornstarch
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- lemon wedges to garnish
Instructions:
Place all marinade ingredients in a large plastic bag; seal and mix well. Add salmon fillets, seal and refrigerate for at least one hour, but may be left refrigerated overnight.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and combine all glaze ingredients in a small bowl. Set bowl aside.
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and place marinated fillets skin down on the paper. Brush ½ of the glaze on the fillets. Bake in preheated over for 10 minters and brush on remaining glaze. Bake another 10 minutes or until fish reaches 145 degrees and flakes easily.
Serve with lemon wedges if desired. Serves 4.
