Following his dark turn this past season on Dexter, Colin Hanks' next TV role is decidedly more upbeat!
The 34-year-old actor will play himself on an upcoming episode of Happy Endings, Entertainment Weekly reports.
First look: Happy Endings gets romantic for Valentine's Day
Hanks befriends Dave (Zachary Knighton) when Dave's steak food truck becomes a Chicago hotspot complete with designer drinks. The episode is slated to air sometime later this season.
Hanks is best known for his roles in Orange County, Mad Men and The Good Guys.
Happy Endings airs Wednesdays at 9:30/8:30c on ABC.
