2 women accused of stealing over $700 in merchandise from Potsdam Walmart

Potsdam -- Sheriff's Deputies arrested 2 St. Lawrence County women after a complaint that they shoplifted merchandise from the Potsdam Walmart.

The Sheriff's Office says store security personnel caught 27 year old Jennifer Larkin of Richville and 27 year old Jessica McSweeney of Gouverneur attempting to leave the store with over $700 worth of merchandise without paying.

Larkin was also ticketed with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle after it was discovered she drove to the store with a suspended drivers license.

The two will answer to their charges in the Town of Potsdam Court on August 16th.
