20 year old Norwood man arrested; Public Lewdness and Endangering the Wefare of a Child

Norwood -- 20 year old Andrew Francis of Norwood was arrested by the New York State Police on Sunday. Francis was taken into custody on a bench warrant the was issued  by Potsdam Village Court in October of 2010.

According to police, Francis was driving his vehicle on Broad St. when he drove up to two females who were walking and exposed himself then drove away. The ages of the  victims have not been released.

Francis is charged with 2 counts of Public Lewdness and 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Also in 2010, Francis was arrested after he and another man allegedly broke into the Village Market in Sanfordville.

Francis is being held without bail in the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility. His arraignment is scheduled for May 23rd.
