Lowville -- Beaver Camp in Lowville is hosting the David Tuttle Ice Fishing Derby this Saturday starting at 6:30am and wrapping up around 2:00pm.

The derby is in memory of avid fisherman David Tuttle who drowned while on a fishing trip on Lake Ontario in April of 2012. Tournament organizers say that ice conditions on the lake at Beaver Camp are ideal and that the day should be a great event for the entire family. There are prizes for every child, whether or not they catch a fish.  Chili, hamburgers, hotdogs and plenty of other delicious food items will be available for sale at the Beaver Camp Pavilion.

All proceeds from the tournament will go to Beaver Camp's Campership Fund..
