The Assistant New York State Attorney General here in Watertown has been given a new appointment by her boss. Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has announced that he has appointed Deanna Nelson as a public integrity officer. The Rodman resident will be charged with giving taxpayers a place to go to report complaints of government corruption without fear of local politics influencing the outcome. She is one of several public integrity officers that are being designated across the state. Individuals with information on public corruption cases are being asked to call the Watertown Regional Office at 785-2444.
