City Police investigate hit and run on State street
Watertown -- Watertown City Police are investigating a hit and run accident that occurred outside of a tavern over the weekend.
The accident happened early Sunday morning in front of the Time Warp Tavern on State St. Police say 32 year old Gregory Gleason was walking across the street at around 1:30 am when he was struck by a moving vehicle. The vehicle ended up leaving the scene without stopping.
Gelason was taken to Samaritan Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, Anyone with any information on the crash is asked to call City Police at 786-2601.
