A Clayton woman spent a night in jail for the alleged theft of dental hygiene products from a Watertown store in March.

City police arrested Tiffanie Francine Merrifield, 24, of 602 Riverside Drive, Clayton on a charge of Petit Larceny on Sunday.

Investigators say Merrifield is accused of stealing a package of two toothbrushes and a tube of toothpaste from the Family Dollar store on Eastern Boulevard on March 9th.

Merrifield was held at Jefferson County Jail for arraignment Monday in City of Watertown Court.
