Colton man arrested for robbery that occured in '09

Norfolk (WWTI) -- Police arrested 38 year old Mitchell Butram of Colton on Thursday on an arrest warrant issued by Norfolk Town Justice Donald Lustyik.

Butram is charged with Burglary in the third degree a class D felony, Criminal Mischief in the third degree a class E felony and petit larceny a class a misdemeanor. The charges stem from a case where detectives alledged that Butram broke into Norwood-Norfolk Central School and stole a television and DVD player sometime in July of 2009.

Butram was located in the State of Ohio and was charged with being a Fugitive from Justice from the State of New York.

Butram was extradited from Ohio by Sheriff Detectives and Deputies and arraigned in the Norfolk Town Court and held in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bail bond.
