Several benefits have been planned to help a local man who was severely injured in an accident in November.

Wilson Stevenson, owner of Willie’s Barber Shop in Evans Mills, is currently recovering at a rehabilitation center for the injuries he sustained in the November accident that occurred in Evans Mills.

Community members and organizations are holding the benefits to raise money to assist Stevenson in his recovery and with medical costs. The following events have been planned:

  • Friday January 20 Dinner and Dance, at the American Legion, located at 58 Main Street, Philadelphia.

Pasta Dinner 5:00 - 7:00              $ 8.00
Dinner/Dance                           $12.00
Dance Only     8:00 - 11:00           $ 5.00
(music by Fred & the EDs)

  • Saturday January 21 Bowl-a-Thon, at the Theresa Bowling Alley, located on RT 37, Theresa.
    8 Teams of 5 Cost: $15/pp (shoes included)
    Stop in or call Erin: 642-3334 at the Legion to sign up.

  • Sunday January 22 Craft Fair / bake sale, at the American Legion, located on 58 Main Street, Philadelphia.

11:00am - 4:00pm

Raffle Drawings

  • Saturday, February 25 Holistic/Psychic Faire, at the All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church, located at 1330 Gotham St. Watertown.

10:00am - 4:00pm

Free Admission. There will be spiritual readers, New Year Life Coaching and EFT, aura photography and reading, reflexology, Reiki, raffles and a bake sale.
