A 50-year-old Watertown man was arrested after making a fake New York State Inspection sticker with the intent of displaying it on the windshield of his vehicle.
Vincent A. Vanness, Jr., of Community Drive, was arrested by Watertown Police and charged with Forgery in the 2nd.
It is alleged that Vanness took a photo of an existing inspection sticker and printed it out on a computer and displayed the fake sticker on his vehicle with the intent to show a valid inspection.
