Watertown -- The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office arrested 27 year old Janice O'Dell, charging her with promoting Prison Contraband and Official Misconduct.
O'Dell was charged after a Grand Jury heard the case and Judge Martusewicz issued Superior Court warrants.
O'Dell has been charged with:
- 2 felony counts of Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st degree
- 1 misdemeanor count of promoting Prison Contraband 2nd degree
- 1 misdemeanor count of Official Misconduct
O'Dell, who is employed by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, was arraigned before Judge Martusewicz and was released pending further court proceedings. O'Dell has been suspended from her position of Correctional Officer since May 17th.
