Gouverneur -- New York State Police with the assistance of the Sheriff's Department, and Fort Drum MPI, arrested 22 year old Shawn Raymo and his wife,21 year old Jessica Raymo of Gouverneur, for Use of a Child Less Than 17 in a Sexual Performance (Class C Felony) and Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Class A Misdemeanor).
The incident occurred sometime in July of 2011 while Jessica Raymo was living on Fort Drum and Shawn Raymo was deployed to Afghanistan.
Jessica Raymo is alleged to have engaged in Oral Sexual Conduct and Sexual Contact with a 15 year old female victim while Shawn Raymo watched the sexual performance on the internet using Skype.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymo were arraigned before Town of Leray Judge Mead and remanded to the Jefferson County Public Safety Building in lieu of $5,000 cash bail each, awaiting Grand Jury action.
