Leray (WWTI) -- State Police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred Saturday morning at around 9:300 on NYS Rte 26 in the Town of Le Ray,
According to Police, 17 year old Heather Miller was driving east bound on State Route 26 when she lost control of her vehicle and veered into the west bound lane striking an oncoming car operated by 43 year-old, Laurie Deshane. Ms. Deshane was pronounced deceased at the scene. A backseat passenger, Kendra Deshane, age 20, was transported to Samaritan Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries. Two other passengers, Krista Deshane, age 18, and Christopher Brundage, age 30, were transported to SMC and Carthage Area Hospital respectively with non-life threatening injuries.
Ms. Miller was transported to SMC for treatment and released.
