Gouverneur Police looking for driver involved in Hit and Run

Gouverneur (WTNY) -- Gouverneur Village Police are investigating a hit and run accident that occurred Saturday night. Police say the victim, an unidentified 46 year old man, was found lying in the road on Johnstown St. at around 9 pm. He was taken to a local hospital. Police believe he was struck by a vehicle, which then fled the scene. The vehicle is possibly a Chevy Impala which may have sustained damage to it's passenger side mirror.
