Gouverneur man charged with trying to sell stollen medications

Watertown (WTNY) -- A 37 year old Gouverneur man is facing charges after allegedly trying to falsify records to get a refund on stolen medication.

Jefferson County Sheriff's say that Eli Hubbert was charged with two counts of petit larceny and falsifying business records after trying to get cash refund for four stolen boxes of medication worth over $100 at the Coffeen Street Kinney Drugs on Feb. 13. Hubbert had stolen the medication the day before.

He was held at the Public Safety Building on $750 bail.
