Rochester, N.Y. – If you think those kids’ clothing sales look suspiciously like
back-to-school sales—you’re right.
Retailers are already offering the kinds of deals usually seen in the fall.
Experts say retailers are trying to make up for a sales slump in April and May.
"If retailers don't make it this summer, they're out of business
the next year or following year,” said one consultant. “Retailers are going after it because people will spend for their children where they won't spend for themselves."
Some of the biggest savings can be found on clothing. The price of cotton is down by %50.
