JV Cheerleading Coach at General Brown arrested for misuse of funds
Watertown (WWTI) -- State Police arrested 27 year old Amber Doner for 1 count of Grand Larceny 4th degree.
The investigation revealed Doner was hired as the JV Cheerleading coach at General Brown Central School in August of 2012, and was provided money to purchase uniforms and supplies for the Cheerleaders. Doner purchased partial uniforms and supplies and had subsequently resigned from the position as coach.
The school had been unsuccessful in recovering the money from Doner which lead to her arrest. The amount owed is $1,041.
Doner was issued an appearance ticket to the Town of Brownville Court on November 29th.
Doner was only employed as the JV Cheerleader coach and held no other position in the district.
