Lowville pair accused of camp break ins

Two arrests have been made for camp burglaries in Lewis County and more are pending, according to the Sheriff's Department.

Arrested on Saturday were 31 year old Shannon Larkins and 20 year old Benjamin Platt, both of Lowville.

The burglaries took place on Friday at two camps along the Houseville Gulf Road in Turin. A number of small items were taken.

Ms. Larkins and Mr. Platt were arraigned on two counts each of 3rd degree burglary. Larkins was remanded to county jail without bail while Platt's bail was set at $15,000.
