A Felts Mills man was arrested by Watertown Police over the weekend after holding a butter knife to his sister’s face threatening to kill her.
Watertown Police arrested Timothy J. Demarco, 30, of Route 3, and charged him with Menacing in the 2nd, a class A Misdemeanor, Harassment in the 2nd, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon, a Class D Felony due to prior convictions.
It is alleged that Demarco waived and then placed a butter knife up to his sister’s face, telling her that he was going to kill her. This caused Gena Hoyt to fear for her life. Demarco also grabbed Hoyt by the face and pushed her up against a wall during the dispute.
Demarco was charged with the class D Felony charge of Criminal Possession of Weapon due to prior misdemeanor convictions, with the most recent of Assault in the 3rd. He pled guilty to that charge on September 29, 2010.
Following his arrest, Demarco was transported to the Public Safety Building where he was processed and held pending arraignment.
