The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with Old Navy, has issued a recall on Toddler Girls Aqua Socks due to reports of children slipping and falling.
The Toddler Girl Aqua Socks were sold nationwide and in Canada for approximately $12 to $15 from February 2012 through June 2012. Approximately 34,000 units were recalled in the U.S. and 3,800 in Canada.
The styles of Aqua Sock have less traction when worn on wet or smooth surfaces, such as hardwood or tile.
Two customers have reported falls with minor injuries to their children. Both cases did not require medical treatment.
Consumers are urged to discontinue use immediately and return the product to Old Navy for a full refund.
