Police release the name of the victim of Wednesday's Fatal car accident in the Town of Montague

Montague -- Sheriff's Deputies in Lewis County are investigating a fatal car accident that occurred at around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened at the intersection of Gardner and Sears Pond Roads at 12:37pm in the Town of Montague.

Police say the vehicle, driven by 47 year old Matthew Brenon of Brownville, was traveling north on the Sears Pond Rd. and then exited the side of the roadway at the Gardner Rd. intersection then became airborne and struck a tree.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
