Police say an Adams man threatened to have his dog attack his wife

Adams -- Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 31 year old Jeffrey Zehr Sr., Michaels Rd., Adams after Zehr allegedly threatened to have his dog attack his wife.

Police say the incident occurred Sunday evening. Zehr was also in violation of an Order of Protection held by his wife Amber Zehr.

Zehr was charged with Criminal Contempt and Harassment.

He was processed at the Jefferson County Public Safety Building and released. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Adams Court on June 27th.
