Read-A-Thon raises money in St. Lawrence County

Canton -- 3 young readers in St. Lawrence County have unique way of raising money for various local organizations.

14 year old Rachel Clements, 12 year old Rhiannon Clements and 13 year old Sammie Fralick held a Read-A-Thon recently and raised $736.11 for the St. Lawrence County NYSARC.

The girls have been fundraising for 6 years and so far have raised over $5,000 for various local organizations.

A check was awarded to SLNYSARC on Wednesday afternoon at the organization's G.O.A.L. Art Gallery.
