Search Warrant Discovers 10 Pounds of Marijuana, Growing Operation and Hallucinogenic Mushrooms

A Lisbon man is facing multiple charges after the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force raided his residence and discovered approximately $22,000 worth of marijuana and a small growing operation.

Charles J. Roemer, 29, of 628 Murphy Road in Lisbon, is being charged with Criminal Sale of Marijuana in the 3rd, a class E Felony, Criminal Possession of Marijuana in the 1st degree, a class C Felony, Unlawful Growing of Marijuana, a class A Misdemeanor, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A Misdemeanor.

While the warrant was being executed officers discovered about 10 pounds of marijuana, with a street value of approximately $22,000, a small marijuana growing operation, drug paraphernalia and hallucinogenic mushrooms.

Roemer was taken before Judge Rupp in the Town of Oswegatchie and released to the supervision of probation.

At this time the investigation is continuing and more charges are pending.
