Philadelphia (WTNY) -- A Clinton County man was found to be in possession of a mobile meth making unit which was discovered during a traffic stop early this morning on Rt. 11 in the Village of Philadelphia.

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department says it pulled over 48 year old Scott LeClair for going 45 in a 30 mph zone near Philly Fuels just after 1 am.  The sheriff's deputy noticed meth making materials in the car, and LeClair later admitted to possessing the items for the specific purpose of making the drug.  He also told the officer that he was under the influence of meth and cocaine.  LeClair also allegedly was driving without a valid license.

He is charged with third degree unlawful manufacture of methamphedamine, false personation, and third degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
