Watertown (Nathan Lehman WTNY) -- A grand jury has indicted a Watertown man in connection with a fatal accident that occurred last July.
Richard Sample, was struck and killed by Kristian Loftus, on the Hadcock Road, just before 8:00pm on July 15th. Police said the truck Loftus was driving crossed into the southbound lane and hit Sample while he was operating his motorcycle.
Sample died at the scene from injuries sustained in the accident.
Loftus is charged with second degree manslaughter and DWI.
