Watertown man arrested on several charges

Watertown -- A Watertown man has been arrested in connection to a burglary and weapons incident at a city residence.

Forty one year old Michael Merrifield is accused by police of illegally entering a residence on Bronson St. Tuesday afternoon and swinging a knife at two people inside. One of whom suffered a minor cut to their finger. Merrifield was charged with second degree burglary, second degree assault, third degree criminal possession of a weapon, second degree menacing and petit larceny.

He is facing a felony on the weapons charged due to being a convicted felon.
