A former Lisbon Central School teacher will spend about 4 months in jail after admitting she had sex with a 15 year old male student.
In St. Lawrence County Court, Christel Gravlin was also sentenced to 10 years probation and $1,300 in court surcharges.
Following her sentencing, Gravlin was remanded to custody of the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
June 23rd has been set for her sex offender risk assessment hearing. That will determine whether Gravlin gets listed as a level 1, 2 or 3 sex offender.
An Order of Protection was issued, expiring in May, 2016.
