Watertown -- A Sackets Harbor teen was caught leaving the Watertown Walmart with nearly $170 worth of merchandise including Beer, Soda, Spray Paint, Car Seat Covers and various other items without paying for them.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department says Walmart Management notified them of the incident. When they arrived at the store they met with 19 year old Gareth Shawn Hopper, Monroe Street, Sackets Harbor, who was arrested and processed without incident.
Hopper is scheduled to appear in the Town of Watertown Court later this month to answer to the charge of Petit Larceny.
