A Norwood man is accused of assaulting his girlfriend.
State Police say 22 year old Alexander White of 22 South Main Street, Apartment 2, injured his girlfriend by punching her repeatedly in the face and throwing her down a flight of stairs.
He was arraigned after the 8:45 a.m. Monday incident and remanded to St. Lawrence County jail with bail set at $1,500.
Meanwhile, an Ogdensburg man is charged with assault for allegedly punching another man in the face, causing facial cuts and knocking out a tooth.
Thomas Kelso, 20, was issued an appearance ticket for the incident at a residence along State Route 37 in the town of Oswegatchie.
In another State Police case, 25-year old Stacey Oakes of County Route 42, Lot 5, Massena, was charged with menacing and criminal possession of a weapon. Troopers say she threatened another person with a large bi-fold knife in a driveway at lot 6 at the same address.
She was issued an appearance ticket for town of Massena court.
