4th of July weather planner
If you're planning on outdoor activities for the days surrounding the 4th of July, Mother Nature is cooperating nicely.
The forecast from the National Weather Service says plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures will remain across the North Country through the end of next week with the odd chance of a shower or thunderstorm. That's encouraging news for vacationers and people planning on taking in fireworks displays during the holiday week.
High temperatures this weekend will be in the low to mid 80's with lots of sunshine. Overnight lows will bottom out in the low 60's. There is a 40% chance of showers overnight Sunday.
For Monday, look for partly sunny skies with a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. and a high in the upper 70s. Tuesday Mostly sunny. Highs around 80. Independence day will be partly sunny with a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 70s. Thursday, Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 70s
