$5000 Reward Offered in Vehicle Vandalism Case on Fort Drum

Fort Drum— Vehicle vandalism and property damage of $25,000 to $30,000 have been reported on Fort Drum.

 

In addition to vandalism, the targeted vehicles, mostly parked on North Lewis Avenue in the Richard Hills Housing Area, have had tires slashed and punctured. Additional damage was discovered on several vehicles parked on Middle Lewis Avenue and another parked on South Lewis Avenue. The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command (CID) reported that the perpetrator might have sustained a cut during the commission of the crime.

 

According to the CID, the crime took place from the night of December 14, 2012 through following morning. A $5,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information leading to the identification of the individual(s) involved. Anonymity will be honored to the degree allowable under the law and the information will be held in the strictest confidence allowable.
