A 71-year-old Three Mile Bay man was arrested Monday after urinating in an Elks Club parking lot, in full view of children at a neighboring ice cream stand.

Watertown Police arrested Robert F. Pitcher, of Flanders Road, and charged him with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.

Pitcher caused public alarm and offense when he began to urinate in the parking lot of Elks Club, located next to Frosties Ice Cream. While urinating, children that were getting ice cream at Frosties observed the scene and were alarmed.

While being placed under arrest Pitcher attempted to pull away from officers to avoid being handcuffed.

Pitcher was transported to Samaritan Medical Center for treatment, then transported to the Public Safety Building where he was held pending arraignment.
