89 bags of heroin found at Drug bust on Cedar St.

Watertown (WWTI) -- The Metro-Jeff Drug Task force and Watertown City Police nabbed 89 bags of heroin at a drug bust that took place on Cedar Street in the City on Monday Afternoon.

Police say they executed the search warrant at around 1:00pm at the rear apartment at 217 Cedar St.. Arrested were 22 year old Tracy Goodwin and 32 year old Raymond Cruz.

Goodwin and Cruz were both charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree (intent to sell) a class B felony.

Also discovered in the apartment was $220 in cash and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Cruz and Goodwin are currently being held at the Jefferson County public Safety Building awaiting arraignment in Watertown City Court.
