The iconic "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" returns to ABC50 on Monday night with a special two-hour Thanksgiving-themed episode, with actress, author, activist and entrepreneur Jenny McCarthy guest starring as team leader. The Watson Family episode will immediately follow the "Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars" Performance Finale. The Watson’s are a passionate young couple who fight hard for their dream of 'restoring' the lives of single mothers and their children in Knoxville, Tennessee, where over 5,000 single-mother families live below the poverty line. Their mantra, "It Takes a Village," has helped many single mothers and their children transition to successful lives, both financially and personally. But their own home is in such bad shape that it threatens to take them away from their non-profit and imperils their dreams of expanding the program to help even more single moms. Dancing with the Stars: All Stars - Tuesday, November 27th – 9:00 – 11:00 PM
The "Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars" Performance Finale is live on Monday night, and on Tuesday, one couple will take home the Mirror Ball Trophy on the season finale. Shawn Johnson, Kelly Monaco and Melissa Rycroft and their partners will perform two routines on Monday night – their favorite dance from the season and a freestyle dance. On Tuesday, the couples will perform an instant dance - they’ll be given their music and dance style just minutes before they must perform live to complete the judges’ scores and crown a winner.
A Charlie Brown Christmas - Wednesday, November 28th – 8:00 – 9:00 PM
ABC50 will celebrate the joy of the holidays with the full, uncut version of the holiday PEANUTS special, "A Charlie Brown Christmas," created by late cartoonist Charles M. Schulz, on Wednesday night. In the digitally-remastered 1965 special, "A Charlie Brown Christmas," Charlie Brown complains about the overwhelming materialism that he sees everywhere during the Christmas season. Lucy suggests that he become director of the school Christmas pageant, and Charlie Brown accepts, but it proves to be a frustrating struggle. When an attempt to restore the proper spirit with a forlorn little fir Christmas tree fails, Charlie Brown needs Linus' help to learn what the real meaning of Christmas is. The hour will also include "Prep & Landing: Operation Secret Santa", the seven-minute animated short featuring the voice of Betty White as Mrs. Claus.
