Ellisburg (WSYR-TV) - One teen is dead and another was flown to Upstate Hospital after a serious car crash. It happened along State Route 289 in the Town of Ellisburg around 8:40 Saturday night.
Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies say 19 year old Gaige Knapp of Watertown, was driving south when his car went off the side of the road, hit an embankment and rolled over several times.
Knapps' passenger, 17 year old Trevor Robinson of Adams, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say they believe speed was a factor, but are still investigating the crash.
