A Jefferson County woman was caught with cocaine packaged for sale, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department.
Jasma M. Ryan, 23, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was stopped on Route 81 in the town of Ellisburg about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The 3.5 grams of cocaine was "packaged consistent with narcotics packaged for sale," the police report says.
Ryan also admitted in a sworn statement that the set of digital scales she had were used to determine the weight of narcotics she purchased, the report said.
She was jailed with bail set at $5,000.
