Army Secretary John McHugh hospitalized

Nathan Lehman WTNY -- Army Secretary and Watetown native John McHugh was reportedly hospitalized following a bicycle accident. 

He is expected to recover soon.  The Washington Post reports that McHugh was injured while riding his bicycle in Alexandria, VA Monday.  No specific details were made available.  A Army spokesperson says McHugh did not need surgery and was resting comfortably at Walter Reed Medical Center. 

McHugh is expected to fully resume his duties shortly and will be back in the office as soon as doctors clear him to return.
