Bitter cold temeratures are coming our way
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- Following our January thaw, and a first half of the month which ended up 7.5 degrees above normal, get ready for much colder air to settle into our area for the second half of the month.
It seems likely that some days will struggle to reach the teens for afternoon highs with overnight lows approaching 0° or colder. This pool of arctic air could end up being the coldest air we've seen around our area in 5 to 6 years.
Current indications are that we should be firmly in the grip of this arctic air by the middle of next week.
