A Norwood woman has been charged in connection with a fatal accident in Potsdam in June.
State Police charge 27 year old Lori A. Grant with DWI and driving with ability impaired by drugs.
Grant had a blood alcohol content of .12 per cent, and had marijuana and hydromorphone in her system, police said.
Grant was involved in a head-on crash on Route 56 shortly after midnight on June 20th.
However, police indicate the other driver was at fault, as 56 year old John Purvis, also of Norwood, swerved into the wrong lane and was killed in the crash.
Purvis was driving drunk as well, police said, with a blood alcohol content of .17 per cent.
Ms. Grant has been issued appearance tickets returnable in Potsdam court.
