Clayton -- On July 17,2012, State Police arrested Christopher Robinson, age 33 and Tracy Lindsay-Cantwell, age 25, both of Bartlett Point Rd, Clayton, for the following charges:
- Predatory Sexual Assault against a Child, a class "A-II" felony
- Rape 1st degree, a class "B" felony
- Criminal Sex Act 1st degree, a class "B" felony
After an extensive investigation, including Jefferson County Child Protective Services, the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office and the New York State Police in Alexandria Bay, the investigation revealed that Robinson had sexual contact with a 9 year-old female child and that he was aided and abetted by Lindsay-Cantwell.
Both subjects were arraigned in the Town of Clayton Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Jail.
